Schedule
3:30 - Touch grass, say hi, settle in
4:30 - Quick ‘n cute ceremony
After the ceremony, there’ll be about an hour for drinks, snacks, games, and karaoke, followed by dinner, dancing, and general mischief.
Dress Code
Kitschy Vegas Glam/Upstage the Bride meets Valentine’s Day. Or just wear something you've always wanted to rock— sequins, neon, leopard print, vintage flair, rhinestones, feathers, Elvis vibes, dino costume, or over-the-top romance.
Keep in mind it will be outdoors in August, so dress for the heat and grass while serving a look. If you’re thinking “Is this too much?” it’s probably perfect.
If it’s helpful, we made a Pinterest board with some ideas to inspire you. But above all else, we want you to be happy, comfortable, and your true weird selves :)
Gifts
We're grateful to have amazing friends and family to celebrate with us. We truly don't need anything. If you'd like to give a gift, we've put together a couple options here. However, your love and support mean the most to us.
Other info
-
Carbonado is around 45 minutes outside Tacoma, a little over an hour from Seattle (unless you live in Ballard or something). If you’d rather stay the night so you don’t have to worry about the drive back, here are our suggestions:
The best options for accommodations are Airbnbs in the area (Buckley, Enumclaw, Bonney Lake) or hotels like the Buckley Inn or Econo Lodge Buckley.
If you’re feeling adventurous, you’re more than welcome to pitch a tent in the yard and camp overnight at the house (everyone’s doing it).
-
If we could have an unlimited guest list, we would! However, due to capacity at the house, we can only accommodate plus ones and children mentioned on your invitation.
